Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who mixes soul gospel jazz and R&B in a signature mix. Sunshine has appeared on Broadway, during the Democratic National Convention and in the European clubs and festivals. Sunshine was born Denise White. She is originally from Chester Pennsylvania, where she started her musical career by playing piano and singing at church. Her musical career began in Atlanta in Spellman College. She became the primary piano player for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 for a position as the director of chorus for Dreamgirls, the theatre production of Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine became famous during the four daily performances of The 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine went on to sing at Barack Obama's 2009 Inauguration.
